Smarter clipboard, Pick Color and importing from other apps

Import clipboard data from other apps, pick colors on screen and work with videos, links and codes in copied content.

新增

  • Import clipboard history and pinned items from Paste, PastePal, PasteNow, Maccy and CopyClip (Pro). Duplicate content is skipped, and pinned items go to the matching Board.
  • Videos copied from Finder have a preview and a VIDEO label in the notch, Clipboard Panel and Library. The thumbnail remains when the original file is moved or deleted.
  • Type @video to filter videos.
  • Links and OTP codes inside copied text can be accessed directly from the right-click menu.
  • Pick Color: press ⇧⌘1 to pick a color anywhere on screen. Tab switches HEX/RGB/HSL/HSB; ⌘-click to keep picking colors (Pro). Change the shortcut in Settings.
  • Apple Music: the notch shows the next track a few seconds before it changes, with the track name, artist and a countdown animation.
  • AI agents have new loading indicator styles.

  • OCR responds faster on the first use.
  • The OCR result card below the notch is more compact, previews up to five lines and closes with Esc.
  • The Clipboard Panel offers “Copy and close” and “Paste and close” when clicking an item. A pinned panel stays open.
  • PNG, JPEG and GIF images keep their format in the clipboard, avoiding larger files or lost animation. Images copied from Finder show their file name and can be searched by name.
  • Delete clipboard history from the past 15 minutes, one hour, 24 hours or seven days instead of clearing everything. Items pinned to Boards are kept.
  • Smart Select has a new look and sits beside the end of the selected text in supported apps.
  • Calendar adjusts its height to the number of events. Click the event name in “Next up” to open its details.
  • Swiping between notch pages gives a light haptic tap when the gesture reaches the switching point.
  • Drag to add, reorder or remove controls directly on the player preview in Media Settings.
  • The live music waveform pauses while Low Power Mode is on to reduce load and save battery.
  • Pomodoro now offers more sounds.
  • Onboarding lets you enable Screenshot shortcuts, warns about macOS shortcut conflicts and prompts before you skip permissions.
  • Screenshot editing handles keep a consistent size at every zoom level, making them easier to use.
  • Changing the app language prompts you to restart immediately, in the language you selected.
  • Improved compatibility with Codex Auto Review.

  • Fixed Codex appearing done while it was still running or had unfinished subagents.
  • Approval requests no longer stay pending after being answered in the terminal; fixed Claude asking for input when it had already finished.
  • Enabling Translation can show the translate button beside selected text without also enabling Smart Select in Utilities.
  • Fixed a crash when turning Low Power Mode on or off.
  • Fixed dragging files to the notch accidentally opening Mission Control.
  • Reduced CPU usage when Settings is open but idle.

Multi-item drag and keyboard page switching

Drag several clipboard items at once, switch notch pages with Tab, and enjoy improved stability.

新增

  • Drag several clipboard items at once from the notch and the Clipboard Panel. Select items with ⌘-click, or ⇧-click to select a range.
  • Drop several items on a Board to pin them all at once.
  • Press Tab or Shift-Tab to switch pages while the notch is open and the pointer is over it.
  • New "Edges open their own page" option in Interaction zones. When it is off, clicking or hovering anywhere on the notch opens the page set in "When the notch opens".
  • Two new clipboard sort options, "By App" and "Name (A–Z)", shared by the notch and the Clipboard Panel.
  • The Pin Board can now be renamed and given a new icon.
  • New "Floating Panel Preview" option in Settings › Clipboard › Appearance to turn the preview beside the Clipboard Panel on or off.

改進

  • Smart Select translates standalone date words such as "tomorrow" or "Friday" instead of suggesting a new event. Phrases with a time or an event name, such as "Friday 3pm" or "Team sync Friday", still show the calendar card.
  • Smart Select cards include a Translate button that switches to the translation right in the card.
  • Smaller Smart Select badge. The translation panel shows language codes so language names are no longer cut off.
  • The text preview beside the Clipboard Panel shows the full content and supports selecting, scrolling and copying. Moving the pointer toward the preview no longer switches the item being viewed.
  • Redesigned passcode and Board create/edit prompts: they now appear in the middle of the Clipboard Panel, with a Cancel button and clear actions.
  • Copy Stack: click the count on an item to remove it from the stack; press Esc to clear the search, then filters, then the stack. The stack clears after you drag it out, so the same items are not pasted twice.
  • Dragging a stack with both text and images into Notes or TextEdit keeps all of the content, in the order you selected it.
  • Images copied from Finder drag out as the original file, keeping their name and format.
  • Smoother area capture animation, with no stutter on the first capture.
  • The capture preview panel (Quick Access), when placed in a bottom corner, now sits above third-party docks and floating toolbars instead of being covered by them.
  • The Send Feedback form fills in the email you used before, with a quick clear button, so we can reply to you. Support contact is now consolidated into Send Feedback and Report a Bug.
  • "Enable gestures" is renamed "Swipe down to open". Swiping down to open the notch is available only when "Open notch on hover" is off, to avoid accidental opening while hovering.

  • Fixed the app freezing for a few seconds when copying or pasting with sound effects on, at launch, and when changing tracks.
  • Fixed the app appearing frozen after Check for Updates; the result now always appears in front.
  • Fixed the notch showing an old video after switching videos or tabs in Google Chrome.
  • Fixed seeking and playback controls for Google Chrome affecting another app, such as Spotify.
  • Fixed links in the Clipboard Panel losing their title and favicon after a while.
  • Fixed preview text appearing black and hard to read in a dark Clipboard Panel while macOS uses Light appearance.
  • Fixed the 100% label sitting off-center in the battery ring when connecting Bluetooth headphones.
  • Fixed the "Lock Board…" translation in 15 languages.

Boards 的 Clipboard MCP 與穩定性修正

透過 AI Agent 整理 Boards，更輕鬆地切換瀏海頁面，並改善音樂播放、截圖和剪貼簿操作的穩定性。

新增

  • Clipboard MCP 支援列出 Boards 並讀取其中的項目。獲准後，Agent 可以建立 Board，以及批次釘選或取消釘選項目。設有鎖定的 Board 仍無法存取；Agent 不能重新命名或刪除 Board。
  • 在瀏海頂部中央區域橫向滑動即可切換頁面。

改進

  • 將剪貼簿卡片拖到 Boards 列時會自動縮小，方便在瀏海和浮動剪貼簿面板中看清放置位置。
  • Codex 新增動態雲朵吉祥物。
  • 移除 App 啟動時的開場動畫。
  • 其他播放器開始播放時，浮動歌詞面板會保留所選播放器。關閉面板後恢復自動選擇。

修正

  • 修正操作 Clipboard Boards 和新增 Board 按鈕時的當機。
  • 修正開始截圖或播放通知音時 App 短暫停頓的問題，尤其是在音訊裝置休眠時。
  • 修正 Codex Desktop 或子 Agent 仍在執行時提前顯示「Task done」的問題。
  • 自動選擇音樂來源時優先使用正在播放的來源，而非已暫停的來源；離開 YouTube 影片頁面後，不再卡在正在播放狀態。

Clipboard MCP 與自訂 Snap Zones

將剪貼簿連接到 AI Agent，自訂視窗配置，並改善文字辨識、剪貼簿預覽和截圖編輯的穩定性。

  • Clipboard MCP 讓 Claude Code、Cursor 和 Codex 搜尋剪貼簿歷史、讀取複製內容，並在你允許時寫回。可在設定 → Clipboard → AI Agents 中啟用；密碼管理器、已排除 App 和已鎖定 Board 的內容不會向 Agent 顯示。

改進

Pill mode and locked Boards

一次重大更新，讓沒有瀏海的 Mac 也能使用 OneNotch，並將更多日常操作帶到螢幕邊緣。

Calendar page and toolbar controls

This update brings a more complete Calendar experience to the notch, expands everyday controls, and improves Clipboard, Music, AI Agent, and overall performance.

新增

  • Calendar now has a dedicated notch page with a month grid, event indicators, richer daily summaries, and support for displaying a secondary calendar.
  • View expanded event details, create, edit, or delete events directly, and open online meeting links from an event.
  • Customize and arrange the controls shown on the notch toolbar, including direct clipboard translation.
  • Create a new Pin Board directly from the notch.
  • Swipe horizontally over the audio icon while the notch is closed to move to the previous or next track.

改進

  • Lyrics, clipboard editing and preview, and translation panels remain available above other apps in full-screen mode.
  • AI Agent setup states are clearer, including the difference between a missing command-line tool and an account that needs to sign in.
  • Added a setting to control anonymous usage-data sharing.
  • Reduced memory usage in several areas and optimized the application package for a smaller download.

  • Clipboard Library can now display the complete history instead of stopping at 80 items. Clearing the entire history has been moved to Settings to reduce accidental deletion.
  • Resolved issues with lyrics controls, notch dismissal, Calendar navigation, and Screenshot permission detection.

Smoother tab swiping

A small update that streamlines Screenshot shortcuts and makes tab swiping more reliable.

  • Capture a region, window, full screen, or the last selected area, with advanced scrolling capture, smart element capture, and subject cutout.
  • Extract text with OCR, view recognized content directly on the notch, and detect links or QR codes without opening another app.
  • Edit captures with pens, markers, shapes, arrows, counters, text, crop, rotate, magnifier, spotlight, and watermark tools.
  • Protect sensitive information with blur, pixelation, redaction, automatic privacy detection, and translation directly inside an image.
  • Present screenshots with custom backgrounds, padding, rounded corners, shadows, perspective effects, progressive blur, and expanded backgrounds.
  • Combine multiple images on one canvas, freely arrange them, and undo or redo edits throughout the workflow.
  • Use Quick Access after capture to copy, save, delete, edit, or pin an image, then find it later in screenshot history or Clipboard Library.
  • Export as PNG, JPEG, or WebP with compression controls and a preview of the resulting file size.

  • Screenshot shortcuts, menu bar controls, permission guidance, settings, scrolling capture, and the annotation toolbar are more flexible and polished; Screenshot can also be disabled completely.
  • Translation can switch providers when the current provider fails, and replacing selected text with a translation now works more reliably.

Meeting alerts under the notch

Get alerts beneath the notch before calendar events, and join the call in one click.

  • Get alerts beneath the notch before upcoming calendar events, with configurable lead time, snooze duration, sound, and calendar selection.
  • Join Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Webex, Whereby, and Jitsi meetings directly from an event alert.
  • Include timed Reminders in notch alerts, then mark them complete or snooze them without opening the Reminders app.

iCloud Sync and clipboard translation

iCloud Sync keeps clipboard history available across your Macs, together with direct clipboard translation and a more polished Library experience.

新增

  • Sync clipboard history privately through iCloud across your Macs, with controls for image syncing, manual sync, and removing the cloud copy without deleting history on the current Mac.
  • Translate text clipboard items directly, or extract and translate text from copied images using OCR.

改進

  • Deletions remain consistent across synced Macs, while items pinned to Boards stay protected when clearing clipboard history.
  • Clipboard Library adds copy-time information, clearer link previews, back and forward navigation, smoother masonry browsing, and better accessibility.
  • Creating and managing Boards now uses a clearer and more polished interface.
  • Clipboard images on the Free plan now follow the normal history limits instead of being removed by a separate storage cap.

  • Improved stability and recovery after interrupted or incomplete iCloud transfers, together with fixes for issues found in recent crash reports.

Clipboard Library

Clipboard Library adds a dedicated workspace for browsing, organizing, and reusing clipboard history.

新增

  • Open Clipboard Library in its own window from the menu bar to browse all items, Boards, source apps, and date groups.
  • Switch between grid, masonry, and list views, adjust card size and sort order, and keep an inspector open for quick review.
  • Preview clipboard images, files, links, text, and colors in a larger lightbox or inspector without losing your place.
  • Copy color clipboard items in HEX, RGB, or HSL formats directly from their preview.

改進

  • Scrolling and loading stay smoother and more responsive while browsing larger clipboard collections.
  • OneNotch version and build information is now visible directly in the menu bar menu.

修正

  • Accessibility permission status no longer reports a lost permission on every launch when it has not been granted.

Dict: dictionary and Quick Translate

Dict 將完整的字典與快速翻譯體驗帶到瀏海，並加入朗讀、原位取代、彈性設定及進一步的效能改善。

More clipboard tools, better lyrics

大幅強化剪貼簿工具，並改善音樂控制與歌詞體驗的重要更新。

新增

  • 現在可以在獨立視窗中直接編輯剪貼簿項目。
  • 新增 15 種快速文字工具，包括大小寫轉換、JSON 格式化、編碼與解碼、命名格式轉換、排序及移除重複行。
  • 可匯出及匯入剪貼簿歷史記錄與所有看板，用於備份或在 Mac 之間移轉資料。
  • 可透過 @ 篩選器與 App 建議，依來源 App 搜尋剪貼簿歷史。

Smarter code previews

OneNotch 首個版本
