Which Macs are supported?

OneNotch requires macOS 15 or newer and supports Apple Silicon Macs only. It feels most natural on a MacBook with a notch, with layout options for external and notch-less displays.

Is OneNotch free?

Yes. OneNotch Free covers the everyday work: clipboard, screenshots, the full annotation toolbox, OCR and translation. The optional lifetime Pro upgrade raises the Clipboard limits and unlocks the advanced screenshot tools — scrolling capture, smart redaction, background removal, in-image translation and the presentation effects.

Can I get a refund if OneNotch Pro isn't for me?

Does it upload my clipboard or activity?

No. Your clipboard history and app activity stay on your Mac. Network access is used only by features that inherently need it, such as update checks or supported media integrations.

Why does it ask for permissions?

OneNotch asks only when a feature needs access. Accessibility enables direct paste and shortcuts; Calendar and Reminders provide glanceable events; audio access lets the visualizer react to what is playing. Optional permissions can be skipped during onboarding.

Can I use it without a physical notch?

Yes. OneNotch includes layout options for external and notch-less displays, although the experience is designed first around the MacBook notch.

Can I open OneNotch with a shortcut from any app?

Yes. Global shortcuts can open clipboard history or reveal the full notch without leaving the app you are using. You can customize the key combinations in settings.
