Combine images in Annotate

Add a second image or capture another area to place beside the image you're annotating.

You can combine several images on one canvas, for example to put two screens side by side.

Add an image

While an image is open in Annotate:

Click Add Capture on the toolbar: Annotate hides for a moment, you select an area of the screen, and that area is added to the image. Requires the Screen Recording permission.
Or drag an image file into the window.
Or press ⌘V when there's an image on your clipboard.

Each image you add is its own layer: drag to move it, and its edges snap to each other so everything lines up.

Click Done as usual. If the image isn't linked to a file, OneNotch asks whether you want to Write to a File… or Put on Clipboard.
